I’m glad Robert Krulwich “now” hears his tone was “oddly angry.” I wish the other producers he (because maybe the producers did, but didn’t have the final say) heard it in the months it took to put this together.
And on a personal note: I rarely comment on public radio dustups, since it seems… a conflict of interest against my own benefit. But I loved and admired this show. I am just so disappointed that a private citizen, Eng Yang, would be humiliated on national radio so that Radiolab could have an emotional payout on a story that, according to Jad Abumrad, possibly doesn’t have a point.
